I first
came to the "Grand Canyon State" in 1997 on a business
trip. While here, I decided to visit Northern Arizona. As I
was driving north on Interstate 17 and heading into the Verde
Valley, I saw out in the distance the snow capped San Francisco
Peaks. I was amazed to see this. Having grown up in the flatest
state in the United States (New Jersey) was I shell-shocked
at the views and the mountains in the distance. My life was
never the same after that! 7 years later, my husband and I packed
up the kids, the dogs and all of our "stuff" and drove
2400 miles from Pennsylvania to call Flagstaff home.
We both
came to Flagstaff without any jobs, but knew in our hearts that
everything would work out because we loved this area so much.
I had worked for almost 10 years prior to moving in the Information
Technology field, and though I loved what I did, I knew it wasn't
what I wanted to do here in Northern Arizona. It was then that
I decided to try my hand in real estate. And the rest is history!
My first year in real estate, I became the first Century 21
Centurion in the office I was in at the time. I was also the
top selling agent by units sold (66 properties in 2005) here
in Northern Arizona as well as the 8th top selling agent for
the Century 21 Franchise in the Southwest. I not only fell in
love with the area, but with a job that let me share everything
I know and I love about Flagstaff and all of Northern Arizona!
I specialize
not only in the Flagstaff area, but also in land, mini-ranches
and horse properties throughout Northern Arizona, specifically
Williams, Valle and the Grand Canyon area. Known as the "Land
Lady" to the local real estate community, I can tell you
just about anything you need to know about any area of Coconino
County, including what it means to be "off the grid"
here in rural N. Arizona.
In 2008
I went on to get my Arizona Real Estate Broker's license and
opened my own office in March of 2010. Today, I have the pleasure
of working with 6 other agents in my office who all love everything
about the wonderful town of Flagstaff and Northern Arizona!
My
Family
I
have been happily married to my high school sweetheart, Rudy.
We started dating in 1977, married in 1982 and had our first
son, Andrew in 1985. Lindsay, our only daughter, arrived in
1987. It was at this time that we moved from New Jersey to a
wonderful home in rural Pennsylvania. And then in 1991, we added
our youngest son Taylor to our family.
I had worked
for years in the Graphic Arts Industry as well as public relations
and marketing. I had the amazing opportunity to work for years
in Manhattan before opening a small Printing and Graphics Arts
Company in Pennsylvania. Then in 1997, I decided to go back
to school and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer
Science, Information Technology 5 years later.
I was also
a volunteer Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) in Pennsylvania as
well as on the Board of Directors for this organization. I was
also active in Girl Scouting, Boy Scouting (Cubmaster), as well
as other local community groups.
Since moving
here to Arizona, I was actively involved in Boy Scout Troop
7031 here in Flagstaff, helping our youngest son attain the
rank of Eagle Scout in 2008. Recently I opened a new office
located at 1500 E. Cedar Ave., Suite #6 and currently spend
most of my time here! When I'm not at the office, I love hiking
at the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Flagstaff and all of the State
of Arizona! I also love taking photos of this amazing area.

Springs and then up Bright Angel. 14.5 miles in one day!
Can't wait to do it again. |
